An Excellent opportunity for experienced Support Workers to join a well-established Care Home based in Mansfield.
We are looking for Support Workers to join a dedicated team providing outstanding support to adults with complex needs in a residential care setting.
Job Description / Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- To work as part of a team by supporting the residents of the home
- Assisting residents in the community
- Proving practical support as well as encouraging independence in line with the wishes of the residents and the requirements of the management
- To assist and develop, prepare, monitor, maintain and review care and personal plans
- Assist and promote activities for the residents
- Ensure the individuals standards of care and support are maintained at all times
- Laisse with professionals and other significant people
- Be involved in regular supervisions
- Attend monthly care meetings
- Be willing to cover care shifts for sickness/holidays if requires
- To follow the company’s policies and procedures
- Attend and carry out all training courses required and set by the home
- To follow the infection control procedures and policies
Person Specification
Essential
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults is desirable
- Experience of personal care is desirable
- Full clean driving licence would be advantageous but not essential
