Meet The Team
James Cutler has worked for the PCDC since 2015. He is the Executive Director and leads on the development of courses that take place. Before joining the PCDC, James worked for Derby & Derbyshire Local Medical Committee as the assistant Director of Business Development and Liaison, working with GP Practices across the whole of Derbyshire. James previously worked for Nottingham North and East CCG (also PBC prior to the CCG being established), from 2008 as a Practice Liaison Manager supporting GP practices directly.
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Chris Locke founded PCDC in 2014 and is the Chairman of the Board of Directors . It is Chris' responsibility to support the Executive Director and to lead the Board of Directors in ensuring that PCDC is well managed, remains solvent and is compliant with legislative requirements and its articles of association. An established senior manager, facilitator, trainer and writer, Chris has worked with primary care professionals for over 30 years, retiring after 20 years as Chief Executive of Nottinghamshire Local Medical Committee in 2016.
Online Services Manager
Zeb Brigham joined PCDC in 2015 and is PCDC’s Online Services Manager. She deals with account payments, the website, course planning and a wide range of admin duties. She previously worked for a decade at Nottinghamshire LMC as their Information Officer, and for NHS Direct’s Information Team.
Head of PLT Events & Communications
Lauren is the Head of PLT Events & Communications and joined the team in 2018. Before joining PCDC, Lauren worked for Erewash Health - a GP Federation in Derbyshire as Project Co-ordinator. Lauren worked closely with the CCG and assisted in the development of the vanguard and supported in the setup of new services locally. Lauren currently manages the Protected Learning Time (PLT) events for Mid Notts and Erewash and also is involved in the set up and running of funded projects in Nottinghamshire for GP Practices.
DPO Service Manager
Emily manages our Data Protection Officer (DPO), Freedom of Information (FOI) and DS&P Toolkit services. Her daily duties include looking after the contracts and invoices for these services and assisting with organisation’s annual DS&P Toolkit submission.
Emma is the Events Manager and joined PCDC in 2019, after graduating from University with a degree in Youth Studies. Her main role is forward planning for our CORE events and handling In-House training requests. Emma also assists the Head of PLT Events & Communications with the planning and facilitation of the Protected Learning Time (PLT) events for Mid Notts and Erewash.
DPO Service Administrator
Zoe is our DPO Service Administrator, recently joining in 2019. Her main role is the administration of the DPO & FOI Service, including contracts and queries.
Sophie is our Office Administrator and joined the team in 2019. She handles our telephone and email enquiries, whilst also being responsible for the preparation of our events. Sophie also manages the promotional content sent out by PCDC, and deals with surveys and the training needs analysis.
